Description: Our client, a software company in Seattle, is currently hiring for a Campaign Content Writer. Our client's Marketing Content team is primarily tasked with creating marketing materials that aid in the acquisition of new customers and continue the growth and loyalty of its existing customers. The Campaign Content Writer (Customer) is one of a team of writers in the organization that partners with Audience Managers to define strategy and implement messaging for customer campaign content. This team takes on the primary responsibility for the written form, including the research, production, and writing of a wide range of assets. Sales tax can be a dry topic, so an engaging and dynamic approach - both in tone and form - is an important success factor. In other words, they want a dynamic content creator who can make tax compliance engaging. The Campaign Content team works closely with a variety of marketing groups, so project management, prioritization, and collaboration are key success factors. They produce a tremendous amount of material from a small team, so they're looking for someone who is self-directed and can collaborate, research, and write efficiently. The Campaign Content Writer (Customer) will focus on supporting their Customer Marketing team to support marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, event promotion, customer communications, and lifecycle initiatives, but may be tasked with other projects as needed. Job Duties: - Build extensive knowledge in the subject of transactional tax and stay in tune with industry, product, partner community, and the competitive landscape - Research, write, and edit informational and other material in support of customer marketing campaigns and initiatives, including: - Long-form content - using internal and external industry experts to develop detailed analysis of sales tax automation and compliance challenges - Digital content - Banner ads, paid social, and paid search copy for various platforms, including optimization and testing - Infographic content - develop concepts for data-driven stories - Content and descriptions for promotional programs and initiatives, advertising copy, and public relations materials - Web content - create descriptive, engaging content for existing product, service, and integration pages as well as for partner organizations when needed - Customer communications including notification, transaction, and promotional emails - Review and improve materials written by internal and third-party resources, ensuring our client's brand, voice, and tone are consistent - Work with internal design team and external designers (contract, freelance, and agencies) to ensure high quality finished products Qualifications: - 3-5 years of content development experience (content writer, editorial writer, copy writer) - Strategic marketing work experience (with focus on B2B) - Experience in producing digital content, digital ad writing, including SEO optimization - Experience working on customer retention and/or customer experience programs is beneficial - Strong project management skills, including meeting deadlines through effective prioritization - Strong understanding of Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere) - Working knowledge of project management tools (jira or Workfront) - Experience working with team collaboration and planning tools (Slack, Miro, Monday.com) - Ability to review and edit digital presentations and utilize spreadsheets About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
