As a Manager in Dialysis you will be r esponsible for patient care, clinical leadership, quality outcomes, cost control, and human resources to ensure safe and efficient operations in accordance with health system policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations. Focuses on customer service as it relates to patients, visitors, family members, staff and physicians including working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure an efficient, team approach to the delivery of patient care.

LOCATION: Seneca Ridge Dialysis

DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Dialysis

  • BSN required, Masters preferred

  • Previous nursing leadership preferred

  • 3-5 years of dialysis experience required

  • NYS RN License required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

  • National Dialysis or Nephrology Certification preferred


  • Collaborates with Administrative and/or Nursing Director in personnel actions such as hiring, performance management, promotions and transfers.

  • Develops, justifies and implements, in collaboration with the Administrative and/or Nursing Director, the long-term staffing pattern, personnel complement needs and recruitment plan for the patient care unit.

  • Monitors patient outcomes and, under the direction of medical directors, takes necessary steps to ensure that the standards of care are met. Assures that the unit is prepared at all times to handle emergency care of patients including proper training of staff, equipment readiness, and procedures in place

  • Assures safe operation of all equipment in the facility including, but not limited to, dialysis delivery systems and water treatment.

  • Ensures mandatory in-services are held; oversees, coordinates, and supports training and mentoring programs for staff, coordinates new hire training with educator.

  • Supports Director in achievement of financial goals, provides input in operating and unit budgets; staffs unit for effective patient care and cost containment; reviews pharmacy and supply usage regularly and implements remedial action as required.

  • Assist Director in facility management to ensure safe and sanitary physical environment is maintained throughout the facility; reports any needed repairs to equipment of building to Director and with biomed, ensures proper functioning of medical equipment. Monitors and ensures accuracy and completeness of all CMS/CROWNWEB/Quality data. Ensures implementation and compliance of RRH Dialysis policies and procedures, and all regulatory requirements. Assists Director to complete all regulatory reporting to Network, CDC, and CMS.

  • Ensures compliance with RRH Dialysis clinical and safety standards, policy, procedures and guidelines and all safety requirements, supporting survey readiness at all time. Is an integral part of the Quality/QAPI team.

  • Serves as a liaison between facility and other clinical and administrate components of RRH; interfacing with referral sources, physicians, and medical directors.

Rapid Pay Increases

Receive rapid pay increases every six months during the first two years of employment, and annual increases thereafter.

Unlimited Certifications

Nurses earn up to an additional $1.00/hour for each certification earned plus a $1,000 bonus for the first certification earned, and $500 for the second certification.
