CNE provides comprehensive IT asset management services for organizations and corporations. In this business line, we provide value-added services including logistics management, equipment refurbishment, data erasure, product re-marketing, sales, revenue sharing and reporting for our clients. We are headquartered in Peabody, MA with business operations around the world, including Asia, India, Europe and Latin America.

CNE Direct, Inc. is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM's) and distributers who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM's, distributers, resellers and brokers worldwide.

Position Summary


The Logistics Coordinator will execute CNE's global shipping activities. They will organize and coordinate the storage and distribution of goods on a domestic and international level. They will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and in a cost-efficient manner. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible to adhere to the logistics processes and procedures. They must have an accurate and precise attention to detail to organize and execute daily shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for confirming rates, scheduling freight and ensuring timely delivery of multiple shipments with multiple shipping vendors around the world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:
  • Schedule and coordinate all CNE product distribution on a domestic and international level.
  • Directly work with and obtain quotes with select carriers, third party services, freight forwarders, customs broker, drayage, and warehouse.
  • Obtain export freight quotations and determine which air/sea forwarders will provide the most reliable and efficient service as required for each shipment.
  • Verification of Import/Export Compliance approval to ship and assistance in problem resolution.
  • Coordinate shipping information with global logistics and track delivery of products at all key transit points.
  • Report to CNE sales and purchasing team on delivery schedule timing and performance.
  • Prepare all necessary export documentation, including various legal forms and certificates required for each shipment.
  • Respond to shipping complaints, lost items and damages to ensure timely resolutions occur.
  • Assist other departments, as necessary, with filling out exportation request forms to expedite their shipments.
  • Suggesting operational changes for efficiency improvement for the logistics department.
  • Maintain R2, ISO and OHSAS compliance in the Logistics department.
  • Other special projects as requested by management.
  • Maintain log of monthly shipping activity.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience from a similar position supporting Logistics such as administrative support, scheduling or freight management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other business technologies.
  • Experienced negotiator with strong negotiating skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.

  • Dangerous Goods Shipping Certificate desirable.
  • Familiarity with international trade and customs regulations
  • Experience scheduling both FTL (Full Truckload) and LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments.
  • Experience using both UPS and FedEx shipping software.
