Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Marketing Automation Specialist to be a key part of our Marketing team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. We offer a hybrid schedule for a mix of onsite and remote work.


The Marketing Automation Specialist administers, operates in and supports marketing automation systems, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, and other marketing technology. You will play an important part in supporting key marketing initiatives and business growth by working alongside the marketing team and key stakeholders to understand and execute campaigns, communications, and support marketing programs. In addition, you will help connect marketing systems to other tools and data sources across the company, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, FTP data, data warehouse, and API connections.


One of the primary responsibilities is to manage the daily deployment of marketing emails, using the functionality available to deliver targeted communications. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with internal and external IT resources to create, build, and support workflows and processes in various systems to improve efficiencies and capabilities. As a technical lead for the Marketing team, you will also work closely with other systems, including Ingram’s proprietary ipage order and account management system.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications or related subject or year for year direct experience administering enterprise-level marketing software systems.
  • 3 years of experience administering and operating in enterprise marketing and sales software systems
  • 3 years of experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations between Marketing Automation platforms and other systems and databases, including integrations with and API connections to other data sources.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Marketing Automation certification(s) (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Marketo, etc.)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy B2B channels email communications using email and marketing automation software (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in efficient, accurate, and time sensitive manner
  • Technical management of other marketing automation tools (HubSpot); including contact management, reporting, and ability to understand and troubleshoot integrations with Ingram’s API and Zendesk
  • Serve as primary technical contact for external contractors for development support, testing, and troubleshooting marketing software and tools
  • Advise colleagues regarding tools and strategies for critical email communication and deployment
  • Maintain calendar for e-communication sending, and assist with deliverability tracking, data analysis and campaign reporting. Provide data on campaign effectiveness and suggestions to optimize messaging, as needed
  • Create lists for targeted communications and ensure email lists maintain standards for legal, privacy, and security compliance
  • Maintain primary responsibility for recurring service alert communications, monitor reply mailboxes to assist with managing and routing responses, and troubleshoot day-to-day issues with marketing software and tools as needed.
  • Technical lead for Customer Management Assets (CMA) in Ingram’s ipage system; including editing and launching content, posting content related to releases and functionality, partnering with IT to resolve issues, and advising managers and leadership on topics and issues
