This individual will have a reasonable understanding of building and construction industry trends and terminology, and be able to provide exceptional customer service over phone, live chat and email. Successful candidates will need to maintain fluent understanding of relevant manufacturer product lines as to enable effective communication between both customers and clients sales and marketing teams. This full-time, hourly opportunity can anticipate working 40 hours per week. This is currently a fully remote work opportunity.Major Job Responsibilities and Related Duties:+ The Customer Service Representative will perform as a dedicated front-line strategic partner and seamless extension of various building product manufacturers, specifically:+ Knowledgably answer client questions about products, services, promotions, and other company information using professional phone, live chat, and email etiquette+ Educate customers on products and services in a consultative manner+ Route inbound requests to internal sales or marketing staff for further follow-up as required/needed as determined by a jointly defined client response matrix+ Report and escalate any critical issues to appropriate personnel + Serve as client advocate for voice-of-customer initiatives and client retention+ Courteously and diligently work to resolve client issues+ Perform all duties while representing clients business interests, serving as client activists and brand ambassador.+ Being fluent in various building product manufacturers product lines and programs, enabling effective communications with lead prospects, customers, and building product manufacturers sales and marketing representatives+ The Customer Service Representative will also:+ Be comfortable conducting outbound calls+ Effectively and consistently manage and track all customer interactions and leads using client CRM systems+ Administer CRM record adds and deletes+ Provide inside sales assistance to client sales representatives+ Fulfill requests for collateral materials by mail and email+ Support small-scale quantitative customer research and retention projects+ Follow departmental policies and procedures+ Reliably arrive to work as scheduled (current operations require coverage Monday through Friday, 8am through 6:30pm EST)+ Support additional duties assigned by managerQualified Candidates will possess the following Education, Skills, and Experience:+ High school diploma or equivalent+ 5-7 years of customer service experience; building industry experience preferred+ Strong ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written correspondences required+ Strong listening skills required+ Proficiency in typing and data entry required+ Understanding of building and construction industry trends and terminology required+ CRM experience specifically preferred+ Previous outbound telephone sales experience preferred+ Ability to accurately comprehend, capture, and interpret essential customer information+ Ability to work from home (this includes access to a quiet workspace and ability to provide one's own reliable internet connection to support live chat, email and phone connectivity)Zonda provides data-driven housing market solutions to the homebuilding industry.
