Our community is a tight knit group of remarkable individuals interested in intellectual inquiry and making a difference in the world.RequirementsCustomer Service Assistant for Copy & Mail Services - Georgetown University Law CenterThe Customer Service Assistant interacts with a wide variety of constituents - including Law Center faculty, administrators, staff, and students - in support of all aspects of the Law Center's mail and copying requirements. Reporting directly to the Customer Services Supervisor, the Customer Service Assistant has duties that include but are not limited to:Customer ServiceServe as primary point-of-contact for faculty, students, and staff requiring Copy & Mail Services assistanceProcess requests for copying, mailing services, shipping, document editing, formatting, production, and finishing servicesCoordinate with the Supervisor and colleagues to ensure that customer service deadlines are met and that appropriate follow-up is providedField requests and concerns regarding packages for students living in Gewirz Student CenterCopy & Mail - Delivery and TrackingCollect and track mail deliveries throughout the Law Center campusEnsure that collections and deliveries occur within regular intervals and meet relevant deadlinesDeliver inter-office mail throughout the Law Center campusAssist with the organization, tracking, and distribution of student packagesAssist with the delivery of completed orders from Copy & Mail Services CenterReporting and Vendor ResponsibilitiesCalculate appropriate charges for Copy & Mail Services orders and compiles departmental charges into a monthly reportProvide the Customer Services Supervisor and Director of Financial Services with monthly financial reports and tracking that are used for completing Copy & Mail Services journals and departmental charge-backsGenerate monthly reports on campus mail volumeOperate university POS (point of sales) systems and equipment for accepting payments for services renderedCoordinate with the Law Center's secure shredding vendor. Tasks include ordering, delivery, and removal of bins, as well as invoice generation.Equipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingMaintain equipment in Copy & Mail ServicesEnsure that walk-up devices throughout the Law Center campus have paper and are appropriately stockedManage inventory of copier supplies and replaces consumables for walk-up devicesServe as a point-of-contact for technical issues within Copy & Mail Servicesresponsible for coordinating repairs with technicians and manufacturersSchedule routine maintenanceQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalencyStrong customer service skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and AdobePreferred qualificationsExperience working with high-volume copy machines and postage metering equipmentExperience with a variety of post-production finishing devicesWork Mode: On Campus.
