If you are interested in making a global impact, we are looking for a full-time Customer Master Data Specialist to join us in our Mount Prospect, Illinois location. About the role:The Customer Master Data Specialist handles all internal requests for new accounts or updates to existing accounts in accordance with company policies to ensure the data integrity and quality of customer master data.This position also provides support to users and collaborates with other departments to ensure data continuity and accuracy. Responsibilities and Duties:· Accurate setup, review and maintenance of Customer Master Data in our Epicor Managed 2000 ERP system.· Review customer data submitted by Sales, Customer Service or other requestors.· Gather appropriate approvals for credit limits and finance payment terms from the Finance Team.· Follow company process to ensure Legal, SOX, and Internal Audit compliance.· Prepare packets to increase Customer's credit limit by running a DNB report.· Partner with Account Receivable Department to assist customers with questions about their account balance.· Maintain customer service representative contacts in Epicor and assigning them to the proper customer account.· Update any additions, changes or deletions in Material Determination records in Epicor.· Create and update Sales Representative information in Epicor and apply to customers so that sales data and commission accrue correctly.· Create and maintain customer hierarchies that are used for pricing, trade and reporting.· Generate ad hoc customer sales reports to support activities as required· Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Required Skills:· Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Finance or related discipline.· 3+ years experience working with customer data or customer service.· Experience in banking or manufacturing a plus.· Experience with Microsoft office – Outlook, Excel, Word.· Epicor experience a plus.· Excellent communication, organization, analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy..· Ability to work collaboratively with all departments and management levels within the company to ensure data integrity.
