This position will be part of our Corporate IT organization and will help support strategic business objectives for the Aerospace and PHC business units. As a Senior Business Analyst for our Aerospace and PHC business units, you will have the opportunity to engage with business and IT management on IT strategy. You will have responsibility for procuring and supporting business unit cloud and network architectures and related applications.
So, what will you be doing as a Senior Business Analyst?
Work collaboratively with Business Unit IT and business users on Strategic Initiatives, Application and Network Life Cycle Support, Capacity Management, Maintenance, Business Continuation/Disaster Recovery, and Cybersecurity
Provide leadership and drive excellence across the business units' IT infrastructure and support project delivery and play the role of Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) to enforce statement of work and contract compliance.
Partner with the BU's to capture and maintain business processes guidelines, procedures, KPI models, and keep them up to date.
Assist BU's and corporate stakeholders to analyze business requirements, create a business case, and evaluate if current technology can support or new one must be acquired.
Explore, adopt, and promote industry lead practices in business unit cloud and network architectures and related applications to guide business leaders when making technology investments.
Continuously evaluate and advance company resources, business processes, IT infrastructure and data literacy to support our BUs in delivering and executing their business objectives.
Be the IT advocate for the business and offer technical and program management expertise to support technology implementation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training
+5 years of experience with emphasis within networking, security and/or ERP application support
Understanding of commercial operations and ability to prioritize projects based on risk and benefit analysis
Knowledge of application, data, and network architectures
Knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise solutions
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Experience with implementing procedures to meet compliance standards
Experience identifying issues and implementing strategies to resolve
Things we consider a plus:
Experience with various enterprise applications and IT services, as well as software development, compliance and security, and IT operations disciplines.
Experience in the Aerospace or Hydraulic Cylinder industries
Experience with Visual ERP
Experience with Epicor ERP
Knowledge of cloud and network design patterns, operations and cost models with experience implementing best practices or suggested improvements.
Knowledge of NIST-800-171 or CMMC frameworks
