Duties and Responsibilities of a Sales Project Coordinator

* Acts as the liaison between the client and KGE throughout the projects life after purchase order is received.
* Acts as the liaison between the Sales and Service departments for start-ups.
* Assist in the data entry for bids.
* Processes account information for new and existing customers on new orders.
* Coordinates credit applications and bonding information.
* Creates lead entries in FIELD SERVIO for new purchase orders.
* Manages the purchase orders, proposals and margin calculators for a fluid non-discrepancy order.
* Approve sign submittals from client and release project at that time.
* Process start-up paperwork with service.
* Coordinate with Service department on any job-related issues to get them resolved.
* Assist Sales team and director of sales as needed.
* Manage an assortment of weekly sales reports.

Requirements of a Sales Project Coordinator:

* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
* Proficient in MS Office with a strong emphasis in Excel.
* Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
* Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem solving environment.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
* Familiarity with construction methods, drawings, specifications, and construction documents a PLUS.
* Previous project coordination, quoting, bid boards experience a PLUS.
* Power generation, construction, or related field experience a PLUS.

Education/Experience of a Sales Project Coordinator:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an associate project coordinator providing project and administrative support with a focus on data analysis and database management.
* A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an associate project coordinator providing project and administrative support to executive management in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on data analysis and database management.

Physical Requirements of a Sales Project Coordinator:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
