Our staff augmentation, project consulting and resource based services range from interim staff roles to tackling the most recent business challenges facing our clients on an ad hoc and continual basis. As full-time members of our practice, Salaried Professionals will be asked to participate in 'practice' activities that include professional networking events and assisting our business development staff in staying abreast of industry trends and new business opportunities with their assigned clients. Additional compensation will be available for assistance in developing successful new business for Robert Half.Job Requirements:We are seeking strong Internal Financial Auditors with experience in government/municipality fields as well as the following essential duties and responsibilities:Identifies and properly accounts for all acquisitions, assets under construction, retirement donations, sales and transfers of company fixed assetsMonitors purchases for correct classification, coding and budgetingConducts periodic physical counts in coordination with Purchasing departmentResearches retirements for dispositionCoordinates with Purchasing and other departments to ensure adherence to capitalization policies and proceduresWorks with grant auditors to ensure correct accounting of grant asset acquisitions and retirementsReconciles adopted budget of capital of purchasesPerforms all other related duties involved in the operation of the department as assigned or required3 Keys:5 years of accounting or analyst experience with strong business acumen and technology expertise ERP experience is a must, but if you do not have large Accounting ERP experience, you will need to possess, at minimum, Intermediate Excel skills Pivots and Look Ups.Experience in at least two Accounting Functions such as: GL Accounting and Analysis experience, Fixed Assets and Job Costing w/GL Accounting experience, AP/AR/Payroll etc.Must thrive in a dynamic environment, be flexible and do well in environments of change.
