The Finance and Administration Coordinator will report to the Manager of Finance & Accounting and work within the Finance and Administration department.The Finance and Administration Coordinator must have strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and strive for accuracy and timeliness in all job functions.Kesems ValuesThe Finance and Administration Coordinator must uphold and build a culture that continues to support and strengthen the following core values:We are optimistic.We leave a lasting and positive impact.We empower others.We care deeply about the work we do.We are grateful.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Finance (80%)Execute all accounts payable functions including invoice and expense report administrative review, managing the accounts payable email and vendor payments.Reconciliation of bank accounts.Manage and reconcile Kesems corporate credit card account.Manage and reconcile Kesems staff travel corporate accounts.Oversee Kesems Expensify account.Assist in the collection of Form W-9s and the production of annual Form 1099s for independent contractors.Provide support during Kesems annual financial audit.Code and reconcile all vendor bills including all benefits.Troubleshoot financial information syncs between organizational systems, with support from the Manager of Data and Systems. Import financial information, when applicable.Field finance-related questions from outside vendors and staff.Administration (20%)Manage and research organization-wide resource systems (NexTravel, Amazon Business, Enterprise, Zoom, Google Apps, etc.).Manage Kesems incoming mail.Manage calendar of state nonprofit charitable solicitation filings.Mail brochures upon request.Maintain Kesems main storage unit and technology equipment.Support Kesems Internship Program.Help support other systems projects, human resources projects and other administrative projects as needed.QualificationsA four (4) year accounting degree and/or relevant experience preferredExcellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.Proficient with Google Drive, Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills, and comfort learning and working with systems (e.g., Salesforce, Expensify, Bill.com, NetSuite).Previous accounting experience at a non-profit organization is a plusJob Environment and LocationThis is a full-time position.It is expected that the responsibilities will require anywhere from 4 to 10 meetings per week, including with supervisor, team members, outside vendors, and other constituents.The Finance and Administration Coordinator will work remotely from their home office.The Finance and Administration Coordinator should expect to travel 4-6 times per year, all within the United States. Travel may include staff meetings, national fundraising events, and Kesems National Leadership Summit.CompensationThe minimum annual starting salary for this position is $43,860, and any salary amount above this would be based on relevant professional experience in a similar career level role.
